John Boyd

President and CEO

I am a California-credentialed educator with 26 years of service in the Ontario-Montclair School District. Twenty of those years were spent in the classroom teaching 7th grade math, 8th grade math, math intervention, and AVID classes. For the final six years of my career, I served as a Teacher on Assignment with a focus on data and assessment. This experience shaped my passion for helping teachers and students strengthen their understanding and effective use of data.

With more than 20 years of experience in K–8 public education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and site administrator, my work is grounded in data-informed, student-centered instructional practices. I believe transformative learning is rooted in cultivating student agency and self-efficacy, empowering learners to take ownership of their growth. This foundation continues to guide my commitment to supporting, developing, and implementing instructional tools and practices that promote authentic independence and meaningful student progress.
